Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Insights TT (the "Service"), a personal TikTok analytics tool operated by the individual identified in the Privacy Policy ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
The Service is provided as a private tool intended for use by the operator and authorized invitees. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Your TikTok account
The Service uses TikTok's official APIs (including Login Kit, the Display API, and where applicable the Business API) to retrieve content and analytics associated with TikTok accounts that you choose to connect. By connecting a TikTok account, you authorize the Service to read information from that account on your behalf, subject to the scopes you approve during OAuth consent.
- You are responsible for the security of the TikTok account you connect.
- You may disconnect your TikTok account at any time, which will revoke the Service's access.
- Your use of TikTok itself remains governed by TikTok's own terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service;
- Use the Service to violate TikTok's developer policies, community guidelines, or terms of service;
- Use the Service to harass, harm, or impersonate any individual;
- Attempt to access data belonging to TikTok accounts you do not control or have not been authorized to view;
- Use the Service to scrape or aggregate TikTok data in violation of TikTok's terms.
4. Service availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no guarantee of uptime, accuracy of analytics, or continued availability of features that depend on third-party APIs (including TikTok). We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice.
5. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to the TikTok content associated with your account. You grant the Service a limited, revocable license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing analytics back to you. The Service's software, design, and AI-generated analyses are owned by the operator.
6. AI-generated content
The Service uses third-party large language models and vision models to generate analyses, scores, and recommendations. These outputs are probabilistic and may be incorrect, incomplete, or out of date. You should not rely on them as professional advice and you are solely responsible for any actions you take based on them.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the operator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Total liability shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time and for any reason. You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your TikTok account and requesting deletion of your data (see the Privacy Policy).
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
